Description:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in data center, M&E or related industries.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical system and their applications.
- Good understanding on busway and switchgear market
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- High energy, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Regional work experience is required
- Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Support Regional key account managers in positioning and securing strong mindshare of customers on our portfolio (Busway and Switchgear)
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for busway and switchgear into the key accounts.
- Identify and engage with potential clients, building strong relationships to understand their electrical architecture and their requirement in both busway and switchgear especially.
- Provide technical expertise and support to clients, including product demonstrations, presentations, and technical consultations.
- Lead high-energy technology discussions with clients to position Vertiv’s solutions effectively.
- Drive the value proposition of our busway and switchgear solutions to customers, ensuring they understand the benefits and ROI.
- Possess strong solution selling experience, tailoring sales approaches to meet specific client needs and challenges.
- Drive programs and initiatives to enhance customer engagement and mindshare on our value proposition
- Influence system-level design decisions by collaborating with clients and internal teams to integrate our solutions effectively.
- Facilitate deep-dive discussions with customers to address technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.
- Address engineering and design requirements to ensure our solutions meet customer specifications.
- Position Vertiv’s solutions with a strong focus on technical-centric arguments, highlighting their superiority and benefits.
- Drive collaboration with the product team to ensure customer requirements are well understood and supported.
- Own and drive technical engagement with customers on busway and switchgear solutions.
- Develop opportunities to increase the chances of winning new business and improving customer mindshare.
- Drive strong influence in customer decision-making process with convincing technical value proposition
- Collaborate with the engineering and product management team or development teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor products, and market developments.
