As a Sales Manager, you’ll oversee the Sales Department with a focus on planning, directing, and managing its operations. You’ll ensure the dealership offers a compelling assortment of new, used, and off-make vehicles at competitive prices while driving sales volumes, gross profit levels, and exceptional customer experiences.
This is a key leadership position with a salary + commission compensation structure, with high-performing candidates earning $100,000+ annually.

LISTED BELOW ARE THE CORE COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Administer the management of an operating budget for the purchasing of vehicle inventory to ensure an adequate supply of stock.
  • Forecast goals and objectives for Sales and strive to reach and exceed them.
  • Effective management of used/off make vehicle acquisition, reconditioning, and initial pricing setting.
  • Ensure vehicles are inspected, detailed and placed on the lot for purchase, including merchandising and online presence within the company’s mandatory timeframes.
  • Assist in the development of advertising campaigns and other promotions which includes online marketing.
  • Conduct daily evaluations of new and used vehicle inventory and perform trade appraisals via vAuto software.
  • Oversee Sales Consultants to ensure a positive image and high customer satisfaction rating for the dealership.
  • Coach and assist sales staff in closing deals when necessary.
  • Communicate with staff to confirm the dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed, as well as address concerns when needed.
  • Promptly handle and resolve any customer complaints or issues.
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with key vendors/service providers to generate added value to the Capital Auto Group.
  • Assist the GM & GSM when needed.
