COMPOST & DIGESTATE SALES MANAGER

Material Change Limited has over 18 years’ experience in recycling and energy generation industry. We operate and manage 11 Anaerobic Digestion plants across the UK processing more than 380,000t of organic material and food waste to generate renewable gas, electricity and CO2. We clear and sell over 500,000t of chicken litter as a renewable feedstock and fertilizer replacement. With 6 compost sites across the Midlands and East of England we provide quality assured and farm grade Compost, Mulch and Bark to landscapers, Gardeners, Local Farmers and Local Authorities.

A position has arisen at Material Change for a Compost & Digestate Sales Manager to expand the business operations in addition to generate sales leads and prepare documentation for Compost & Digestate sales for all sites across the company.
The ideal candidate will responsible for making sales of compost & digestate to local farmers, landscapers and other third parties to take compost & digestate from sites in the UK.

Key duties will include:

• Farm Compost Sales
• Digestate Sales
• Telephone and email enquiries
• Liaising with the customers and yard employees
• Monthly sales spreadsheets Board

The role will be remote based but you will be expected to travel to potential customers in order to sell compost. You will need to be self-motivated and driven to meet or exceed sales targets. A background in agriculture or composting would be an advantage. Full driving license essential. Salary and package commensurate with experience.
