JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead and also work with our clients in our Soho, New York office. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in fintech sales, specifically in both membership-based software sales and capital raising. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the retail investor landscape and the dynamics of private capital markets, and will also work his own pipeline and book of business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in fintech sales management, with a strong understanding of both software sales and capital raising.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Deep understanding of the retail investor market and private capital markets.
  • Strong knowledge of algorithmic trading platforms and financial technology.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software1 (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations.

  • Train sales professionals for both teams, tailoring training to the specific sales methodologies required.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide targeted coaching, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage team dynamics, resolve conflicts, and ensure a cohesive and high-performing sales environment.Sales Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and implement distinct sales strategies for each team, aligning with their specific target markets and product offerings.
  • Drive membership growth through effective lead generation, product demonstrations, and customer retention strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors, and manage the capital raising process.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Ensure both teams utilize CRM systems effectively to track sales activity and manage client relationships.Performance Management & Reporting:
  • Establish clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance expectations for both teams.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Develop and implement sales incentive programs to motivate and reward high-performing individuals and teams.
  • Generate accurate sales forecasts and reports for both business units.Client Relationship Management:
  • Ensure excellent customer service and support for software members, building long-term relationships.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with investors, providing transparent and timely communication.
  • Address complex client inquiries and resolve escalations effectively.Compliance and Regulatory Awareness:
  • Ensure both teams operate in compliance with all relevant financial regulations and industry standards.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in the fintech landscape and regulatory environment.Collaboration & Communication:
  • Facilitate efficient communication and collaboration between the two teams, as well as with other departments.
  • Effectively communicate sales performance and market insights to senior leadership.
