We are looking to recruit a driven, ambitious individual to join our BYD team in York.
This is a fabulous opportunity to join a family run business in the AM top 50 and represent one of our fantastic manufacturer partners. This role comes with a competitive basic salary of £35,000 with an achievable OTE of £60,000.

About you
We are recruiting for an experienced and highly talented Sales manager to join our successful team at our York dealership. Reporting to the Dealer Principal, the main responsibilities will be to control the Sales team. You will have responsibility for all budgeted targets, ensuring that operational standards are achieved and high levels of customer satisfaction and retention are maintained. The successful applicant will play a key role in identifying business opportunities and developing the long-term growth of the dealership, the team and the team.
This individual will be self-motivated and able to lead from the front. This person will create and develop a customer service driven environment and culture through regular communication, team building and coaching within the Sales Department.
As a Sales Manager, your Key Objectives will be:
Handle dissatisfied customers calmly, resolve complaints with sensitivity, and involve others when needed.
What we offer
Hours:
Your normal working hours are between 8.00am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday. 9.00am to 5.00pm on a Saturday and 10.30am-4.00pm on a Sunday.
You will work on a shift pattern to cover the hours required to operate the business. This equates to an average of 41.5 hour week over a 4 week period.
