We are looking for a dynamic, organized, self-starter to join our European Infrastructure Sales Team as a Data Center Sales Manager located in or around Frankfurt, Germany.

BUSINESS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

  • 5+ years experience in sales, business development or account management within the technology industry.

  • Knowledge of ICT infrastructure and Data Center buying behaviors.

  • Proven ability to close deals with new accounts & increasing wallet share with existing accounts.
  • Proven ability to manage, grow and nurture large accounts. Skilled in planning and communicating plans to ensure successful execution.
  • Ability to create a value proposition based on customer needs and identified gaps.
  • Strong knowledge of ICT, and/or other technologies related to building infrastructures.
  • Excellent English & German language skills.
Responsibilities
  • Ideally based in or around Frankfurt you will work with the regional sales leadership to identify, engage and build a position of influence with a defined list of multi-tenant Data Center operators.

  • Work with the regional sales leadership to identify and build a plan to secure significant major enterprise Data Center opportunities to be agreed as target pursuits.

  • Drive interaction with the whole Data Center ecosystem in the territory. Work to understand and build relationships with key consultants, contractors, integrators, and other vendors. Become a member of the Data Center community.
  • Represent COMMSCOPE at Data Center customer forums and events. Be an active contributor to social media platforms with presence in Data Center specific groups.
  • Collaborate with other COMMSCOPE groups working in the Data Center space, including the global scale Data Center team and market management groups.
  • Maintain and manage an opportunity funnel along with ensuring data integrity and accurate reporting to regional leadership.
