Description The Sales Manager is a key leadership role responsible for driving performance, growth, and operational excellence within the Sales Department. This individual will lead a team of sales professionals, oversee local sales activities, and collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategies that meet revenue goals and enhance customer satisfaction. This role requires a hands-on leader who can inspire teams, analyze performance metrics, and implement data-driven improvements. The ideal candidate is proactive, results-oriented, and passionate about building a high-performing sales culture rooted in accountability and service. Responsibilities Assists with hiring and training of sales staff alongside recruiter and corporate trainer Organizes and oversees the schedules, territories, and performance of regional and local sales managers. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. Provides leadership to the sales team. Motivates and encourages sales team to ensure quotas are met. Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets. Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts. Assigns leads and sets quotas for sales teams. Consults with potential customers to understand their needs; identifies and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs. Resolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations. Collaborates with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies. Acts as company representative at trade association meetings. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements At least five (5) years of progressive experience in sales, including at least two (2) years in a leadership or management role overseeing teams and driving performance metrics. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Compensation & Benefits Base Pay: $80,000 annual salary. Sales Bonus: Monthly team-based bonus opportunities up to $1,000, with escalators that can exceed $4,000 for overachievement.
