Responsibilities

PURPOSE:

Responsibility for the growth in revenue and market share of Drilling Consumables within the Middle East region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (KEY TASKS)

  • Building key strategic client relationships and seeking out potential market share opportunities daily.
  • Develop opportunities by making initial presentations to on/offshore drilling clients; explaining product and service enhancements and additions; along with introducing new products and services.
  • Assist in drilling consumable quote creation with inside sales to ensure client quote accuracy.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, current products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Contribute information to the weekly global sales meeting by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled; monitoring competitive products; analyzing and relaying customer feedback.
  • Owning the internal CRM process daily to ensure all pipeline opportunities are updated and ready for management review.
  • Work with Global Drilling sales teams to ensure we are servicing all our customers’ needs.
  • Responsible for submitting sales activity reports, such as weekly reports, sales strategy plans, and monthly and annual consumable market analyses.
  • Recommend changes to products, service, and policy by evaluating sales results along with any competitive developments.
  • Manage customer interface and elements of consumable orders specific to the assigned client accounts orders to ensure continuity and exemplary customer service is always met.
  • Represent the Company at various trade shows, exhibitions, conferences etc.
  • From time to time, it may be required to perform other tasks to ensure our mutual success.
