Description

ChargeFWD Technology Ltd. is a growing start-up specializing in EV charging and sustainable infrastructure. We are seeking a Sales Manager to drive business development and sales of Level 2 and Level 3 EV charging station projects, Electrical Planning Reports, EV Ready Plans, and other building electrification initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to British Columbia’s carbon emission reduction goals and help decarbonize existing buildings while growing with a company that is at the forefront of sustainable infrastructure.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development roles, preferably within the building electrification, EV Charging, or electrical supplier industries.
  • Proven track record in B2B enterprise sales, ideally in a start-up or highly engineered product environment

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & INTERESTS:

  • Familiarity with Level 2 and Level 3 EV charging systems and building electrification projects.
  • Understanding of provincial rebate programs for EV charging and building decarbonization.
  • Interest in sustainable infrastructure, electrification, energy efficiency, and decarbonization.
  • Experience owning, driving or charging an electric vehicle is considered an asset.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Strong business acumen, with strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools for sales tracking and pipeline management.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct cold calls, prospect for new opportunities, and lead sales workshops.
    Based in Vancouver, Remote work, Site visits required. Travel expenses are reimbursable.
    Core work hours are 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week required.
    Expected Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year; Sales commissions and bonuses can range from 10-20% of base salary depending on performance and achieving sales targets

Responsibilities
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities across commercial and residential properties.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, serving as the primary contact throughout the sales cycle.
  • Identify new market opportunities and strategies to expand ChargeFWD’s footprint in the electrification and EV charging industry.
  • Manage and report on sales pipeline growth using CRM tools.
  • Educate potential clients on the benefits of EV charging solutions and building electrification.
  • Present at workshops, tradeshows, and customer meetings, effectively communicating ChargeFWD’s offerings and the value they bring.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts with a balanced view of potential revenue opportunities.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets, including monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on provincial rebate programs for EV charging and building electrification, integrating them into proposals to maximize client value.
