Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager (Event/Wedding) to join our team in Sepang, Malaysia. As a key member of our organization, you will lead and inspire our sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction in the event and wedding industry. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue for event and wedding services Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed sales goals Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners Oversee the entire sales process, from initial client contact to contract closure Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends Collaborate with the events team to ensure seamless execution of sold events and weddings Analyze sales data and prepare reports for upper management Manage the sales budget and forecast future sales performance Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations Qualifications Proven experience of 3-5 years in event or wedding sales management Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating a sales team Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills Proficiency in CRM software and event planning tools Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships In-depth knowledge of the event and wedding industry trends Understanding of local and cultural wedding traditions in Malaysia Strong budgeting and financial planning abilities Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred) Certifications in event planning or wedding coordination (preferred) Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required Additional Information Your team and working environment: In 1-2 sentences, introduce the team, property or office environment in a way that reflects the culture Note: Customization may be included for any specific local or legislative requirements, such as work permits Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
