SALES MANAGER (FOOD SERVICE AND RETAIL MARKETS)

Alta Gama Foods, a leading importer and distributor of specialty foods, is actively seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Manager to oversee our food service and retail markets across the USA. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for driving sales in food service and retail markets, meeting sales budgets, conducting weekly sales calls, actively pursuing the opening of new accounts, and leading the creation and implementation of a robust sales process and CRM system.

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING:

• Deepen your knowledge of our specialty food products.
• Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and unique selling points to customers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Relevant experience in sales within the food industry will also be considered.
• Proven track record in sales, preferably with experience in the food service and retail sectors.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated, with a drive to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
• Analytical mindset to interpret sales data and identify trends to drive strategic decision-making.
• Experience in creating and implementing sales processes and CRM systems.
• Willingness to travel for business meetings and industry events as necessary.
  Salary: $48,000 - $50,000 per year (salary dependent on experience) + Bonus
