JOB SUMMARY

Our Sales team is dedicated to accommodating guest requests from the ordinary to the extraordinary.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to the Four Seasons Minimum Operating Standards including the very standards of the division
  • Develop individual accounts using information provided by sources such as but not limited to, World Wide Sales Offices, Front Office, regular guests, media, industry contacts and market intelligence, under the supervision of the Director of Sales and Director of Marketing
  • Research new market opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate companies/organizations likely to produce business for the hotel.
  • Compile and maintain up to date Golden Sales & Catering records
  • Understand the Marketing Plan and objectives so as to maximize revenues while carrying out the sales and marketing activities for the property
  • Represent the property in all areas, internally and externally, to the highest standard, in line with established guidelines and procedures.
  • Work closely with Sales & Marketing team (Director of Marketing, Director of Sales, Director of Revenue and Director of PR & Communications) on a daily basis as it pertains to sales and marketing activities for your responsible markets.
  • Work closely with WSO offices on group business.
  • Keep date records of account base performance and regularly review and forecast
  • Research and compile accurate and appropriate mailing lists.
  • Prepare and report on statistics useful to our sales efforts including nationality, guest origin, booking sources, etc.
  • Plan, organize and participate in familiarization tours as required. Invite potential users to tour the property and conduct individual tours highlighting the facilities and services
  • Entertain potential and existing clients in our food and beverage outlets, including weekends as and when required or appropriate
  • Develop overseas accounts if required to do so by planning and conducting international sales trips
  • Undertake all reasonable requests when asked to do so and potential duty Management shifts if rostered
  • Undertake other duties and responsibilities outside of the daily/weekly routine, but within the overall scope of the position
  • Perform other duties and projects as directed by the General Manager or Senior Management, relating to the two properties.
