REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years’ commercial experience in a similar role within the FMCG sector.
  • A strong analytical mindset and understanding of and experience in using category data and an overall data driven approach.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • An engaged and enthusiastic attitude to your work.
  • Fluency in English language.
  • A full, clean driving license.
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be responsible for the relationship management function, meeting regularly with retailer personnel including buyers, insights personnel and category management personnel.
  • Manage the field-sales team, identifying and realising opportunities and addressing issues.
  • Work in conjunction with colleagues in the Sales and Marketing team to ensure that budgets and sales targets are met on an ongoing basis.
  • Work in collaboration with the Category Manager to deliver a programme of category management to support the business and its customers.
  • Manage and deliver trade presentations.
  • Develop pricing and promotional strategy by category, by market and by channel.
  • Project Manage the Private Label function within the business.
  • Work with retailers and colleagues in sales and marketing and finance to develop joint business plans/ LTA agreements in accordance with the prevailing laws and regulations, including the Groceries Order and ensure that these agreements are adhered to on both sides.
  • Monitor planograms and price promotions for Glenisk and category.
  • Ensure that colleagues in Finance, Logistics and Production are kept abreast of relevant sales plans including promotions, new listings, new terms, new customers etc.
