Description Job Summary: The Sales Manager leads the sales department and manages all sales operations. This includes developing sales department strategies, training staff, and setting sales goals. Supervisory Responsibilities: Lead and direct sales team Oversee Marketing Director Assign leads to sales team Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure sales revenues meet or exceed goals to keep the company profitable. Manage all aspects of sales operations. Produce sales forecasts and reports Researching the market and competitors Train, mentor and motivate the sales team Collaborate with the marketing department to develop effective promotional materials Build and maintain relationships with dealers In person visits to boating events, docks, yacht clubs, and golf clubs, as well as any other luxury boating and watercraft stores and local businesses to inform them of our services, our key features, and potential promotions. Organize company conferences, trade shows, and major events and providing post-event reports and analysis. Accurately describe services offered at Golden Manufacturing and leave Marketing Materials with referral sources. Obtain client information when direct referrals come in, and if marketer in not actively in the community will assist in taking admission calls. Answer telephone calls from individuals requesting services This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Requirements Required Skills/Abilities: Strong leadership and sales skills Analytical skills to evaluate data and use it to make decisions Understanding of market trends and adaptability to follow those trends Motivational and influential Problem-solving and customer service skills Strong organizational skills and strategic planning Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or other specific business and Program/Office related software. Minimum Education and Experience: College degree or higher in business or related field 5 years of Sales Management experience NetSuite Experience Preferred
