Job Description The Sales Manager – Government is responsible for developing, managing, and growing business opportunities from government institutions, ministries, state-owned enterprises (SOEs/BUMN), local government agencies, embassies, and public sector organizations. The role focuses on maximizing room, meeting, banquet, and event revenue while ensuring compliance with government procurement policies and maintaining strong long-term client relationships. Key Responsibilities Government Business Development Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within the government segment. Identify and pursue new business opportunities from ministries, government agencies, local governments, SOEs/BUMN, embassies, and public sector organizations. Conduct regular sales calls, courtesy visits, presentations, and relationship-building activities with government clients. Build and maintain a strong database of government decision-makers and procurement officers. Monitor government tenders, procurement opportunities, and official travel programs. Qualifications Strong government networking and relationship management skills. Excellent negotiation and communication abilities. Knowledge of government procurement and tender procedures. Business development and strategic planning skills. Strong presentation and influencing skills. Analytical and reporting capabilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.
