REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a similar degree with a focus on electrical insulation
  • 3 plus years’ experience in B2B OEM sales, preferably in the electrical insulation industry, or a good Level of knowledge of the electrical insulation market
  • Strong negotiation, communication and networking skills in English and additionally German would be a strong plus
  • Proven ability to initiate, establish and nurture business relationships in a complex business environment
  • Convincing and consultative sales and business development drive
  • Competency in CRM, SAP, Microsoft Excel and solid administrative reporting skills
  • Experience from within an international company is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

To strengthen our globally successful high voltage sales team, we are currently seeking to fill the vacancy of a Sales Manager in the business line High Voltage.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proven sales manager. The job requires an individual with experience in selling “added value” solutions in a business-to-business environment and to create strategic relationship with large and often global customers. This is a great position for a sales professional with a can-do attitude who can thrive in a very independent and self-starting setting.
The Position is based in Europe, preferably Northern Germany, its north-eastern neighbors or the Nordic countries and it will require a regular amount of travel (can be up to 40–50%).

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Sales activities, budgeting and new business development for high voltage insulation systems and materials
  • Proven ability to actualize sales from determined opportunities
  • Customer visits and negotiations of supply contracts
  • Define and execute strategies for European or global customers
  • Close collaboration with global key account management
  • Keeping track of market developments
  • Working in an international environment
  • Working very independently and with long sales cycles
  • Working in close collaboration with the production sites and product management to convert customer needs into new projects and to support the sampling, validation and qualification of new products and systems
