Job Responsibilities
The Hilton Garden Inn Mississauga is currently seeking for a Sales Manager This position will primarily develop and manage the hotel’s SMERF, Groups, Association Market. The candidate must be skilled in building relationships, engaging clients, anticipating guest needs, and exceeding expectations. This candidate will work alongside the Director of Sales and Marketing to achieve pre-established room and revenue goals.
· Proactively solicits and qualifies new business to achieve personal and hotel revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections, written communication, and client entertainment;
· Conducts targeted account research to determine revenue potential;
· Participates in daily business review meetings, training and other sales-related meetings as required;
· To be knowledgeable of local market, national companies, market trends, competition and customers;
· Work with other departments within the hotel to provide quality service to customers.;
· Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings;
· Responds to sales leads and clients’ requests within 4 hours;
· Prepares and customizes sales presentations and proposals to meet client’s needs;
· Works in harmony with other departments to execute groups and catering;
· Produces quarterly plans and weekly reports with plans to follow through on activities targets and annual revenue goals
· Analyze current and potential market trends; coordinates all activities to maintain and increase revenue through added business volume and increased rates
· Executes sales trips to key market areas;
· Maintains accounts in Delphi with all pertinent information;
· Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly;
· Weekly MOD shifts;
· Maintain Manga policies and procedures;
· Other duties as assigned by the General Manager
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
