CLIENT EXPERIENCE & RETENTION

  • Follow up with clients during and after events to ensure satisfaction and secure future bookings.
  • Respond to inquiries promptly and professionally to maintain strong relationships and brand loyalty.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Some college or university preferred; hospitality, marketing, or business-related degree an asset.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in hotel sales or related industry; prior experience in corporate, association, or group sales strongly preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, prepare budgets, and understand profit/loss concepts.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with hotel PMS/CRM systems preferred.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Fluent in English (additional languages an asset).
  • Ability to travel for sales missions, trade shows, and client visits.
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
  • Valid driver’s license an asset.

HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a member of the leadership team, the Sales Manager is accountable for promoting and enforcing workplace safety:

  • Adhere to and enforce all Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA) requirements and company safety policies.
  • Identify and report hazards; take corrective action to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
  • Participate in safety training and ensure all team members are aware of safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, promoting the “Clean as You Go” standard
