Job Summary: The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to expand myFirst’s footprint in the California market. This role requires experience in the kids’ tech industry and a strong understanding of sales channels, including B2B partnerships with retailers, online marketplaces, and direct-to-consumer strategies. The ideal candidate should be a dynamic and results-driven professional with a proven track record in sales and business development.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the kids’ tech industry.
  • Strong network and relationships with key retailers, distributors, and online marketplaces in California.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with both online and offline sales channels.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and translate them into actionable strategies.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to travel within California for business development and partner engagement.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working with major retail partners such as Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Sam’s Club, or specialty kids’ stores.
  • Knowledge of consumer electronics and IoT devices tailored for children.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth in US and Canada.
  • Identify and establish relationships with key retailers, distributors, and e-commerce platforms specializing in kids’ tech products.
  • Manage and expand the existing sales pipeline, ensuring optimal product placement and competitive positioning.
  • Expand our sales channels beyond Walmart, Sam’s Club, Target, and Best Buy by identifying new retail, specialty store, and online marketplace opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns, ensuring alignment with sales initiatives.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and distribution agreements with retail and wholesale partners.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Provide market intelligence, including competitor analysis and consumer trends, to inform business strategy.
  • Support the launch of new products and features by coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Represent myFirst at trade shows, industry events, and partner meetings.
