Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Lead and inspire a team of Technical Sales professionals, embedding best-practice sales strategies and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Drive the organisation’s growth strategy by aligning the sales team to key business objectives, ensuring engagement, accountability, and consistent achievement of sales targets.
  • Develop and execute robust customer acquisition plans, expanding market share and deepening customer relationships.
  • Embed disciplined sales processes, including structured account planning, pipeline management, and pursuit strategies to maximise conversion and profitability.
  • Stay ahead of market dynamics by continuously analysing industry trends, customer needs, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decisions.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Engineering, or Sales & Marketing are highly regarded.
  • 8+ years of experience in sales and major account management, with a strong background in technical solution selling across complex industries.
  • Proven leadership in managing sales teams, driving performance through coaching, accountability, and strategic alignment.
  • Strong commercial and technical acumen, with the ability to translate customer needs into tailored, value-driven solutions.
  • Track record of delivering revenue growth, customer acquisition, and market expansion through disciplined sales execution and strategic planning.
