SUMMARY OF THE ROLE Manage the Infrastructure, one of the customer groups in both Malaysia and Singapore to achieve profitable sales, gross margin, and sales growth within the expected cost parameters by applying Jotun’s sales tools and techniques to develop strong customer relationships, liaise with the client market, and respond to sales and technical inquiries. This role will be based in Shah Alam, Selangor, reporting to General Sales Manager – Marine & Protective. Responsibilities: Support the Infrastructure business by managing existing and new customers, and promote Jotun products by understanding the market, recognising business opportunities, and developing a good network in the market to increase market share. Conduct regular customer visits and gathering market intelligence in order to achieve budget deliverables in terms of value, volume, and gross margins. Build and nurture relationships with key customers by building excellent rapport across hierarchies and providing effective value propositions in order to increase market share. Build multi-level and multi-functional relationships at all key accounts. Develop and strengthen customer relationships with fast response to sales and technical inquiries, and providing suitable coating specifications to secure sustainable market share and promote Jotun as a preferred supplier of high-quality paints and services. Manage sales and profitability at a customer level by continually monitoring and reporting performance to ensure that annual sales, profitability, and cost targets are being achieved. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER Qualification: Bachelor's degree with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in Infrastructure related business. Experience managing key accounts; prior people management experience is an advantage but not mandatory. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Fluent in English both spoken and written.
