Candidates will have a proven record of outstanding sales capabilities, business development, leadership and negotiation skills in the automotive sales industry, preferably in a management position. Education in business administration, project management or related studies would be an asset.
The candidate must posses a high attention to detail with excellent communication, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills and have a great sense of initiative. Candidate must hold and maintain a valid Drivers License. The Used Vehicle Sales Manager will report to the General Sales Manager.
Responsibilities include:
· Drive business through a high-level of involvement in day-to-day operations.
· Effectively manage all areas of used vehicle procurement and sales including but not limited to wholesale, retail, purchasing, and inventory management.
· Reviewing trade-in vehicles including appraisals and ensuring vehicles meet Gauthier Standards.
· Partnering with Sales Specialists, during the sales process, including determining pricing and customer negotiation.
· Assist in the training and development of team members and work within financial objectives.
· Demonstrate leadership by engaging and motivating the sales team to achieve goals and meet performance expectations.
The successful candidate will receive:
· An annual salary of $100,000 - $120,000 depending on qualifications
