We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and elevate reputation as a premier event destination.
Role Overview
As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales across our hotel, conference, and banqueting facilities. You will lead efforts to attract new clients, maintain strong relationships with existing ones, and achieve ambitious revenue targets. This role requires a motivated and motivational leader with a proven track record in sales and the ability to inspire a small team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets for accommodation, conferences, and banqueting.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate clients, event planners, and local businesses.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a small sales team to achieve collective goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of events and guest experiences.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
  • Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and industry functions.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales, ideally within hospitality, events, or a related industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring a team.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a passion for achieving results.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, rural setting.
  • Flexibility to attend evening or weekend events as required.
  • Knowledge of conference and banqueting sales processes (desirable).
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office (preferred).
