A Sales Manager Leisure analyses local market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that keep the hotel a leader in the marketplace through the development of future and repeat business.
Responsibilities:
As Sales Manager Leisure, you will analyze local market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that keep the hotel a leader in the marketplace through the development of future and repeat business. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Analysis local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads.
- Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions.
- Actively seek out potential leisure clients through various channels such as travel agencies, tour operators, online travel platforms and direct marketing campaigns.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential leisure clients. This involves understanding their needs, providing excellent guest service, and ensuring their satisfaction to encourage repeat bookings and referrals.
- Negotiate terms and contracts with leisure clients, aiming to secure bookings at favorable rates while maximizing revenue for the hotel. They are responsible for closing deals and finalizing agreements in line with the hotel’s pricing and revenue goals.
- Sales Managers Leisure work closely with other hotel departments such as marketing, reservations, and operations to ensure seamless coordination in delivering services to leisure guests. They communicate client requirements and preferences to relevant departments to ensure smooth execution of bookings.
- Staying updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in guest preferences is essential. Sales Managers Leisure conduct market research and analyze data to identify opportunities for growth and adaptation in the leisure segment.
- They may represent the hotel at trade shows, Sales events, and networking opportunities to promote the hotel’s leisure offerings and expand its client base.
- Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Director and Senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads.
- Answer clients queries in a prompt and professional manne
