THE OPPORTUNITY
Leonardo UK is looking for a results driven Sales Manager to join its Cyber and Electromagnetics (CEMA) team to drive business growth within it the and Integrated Communications Solutions (ICS) Business area, with responsibility for development for domestic and overseas customers. Reporting to the Head of Sales and Campaigns for, the Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing and leading the capture of new pan domain business opportunities and progress existing Land CEMA business in line with the 5 year Integrated Business Plan (IBP).
This will require you to identify and develop new customers and to provide extensive interaction with the key customer stakeholders. As part of your role you will clearly articulate and demonstrate the operational benefits of this capability. You will be required to develop new business opportunities to secure annual order intake targets and year on year business growth. Internally you will engage and work closely with the CEMA Integrated Project Team (IPT), Key Account Managers and with the Leonardo overseas country and regional marketing teams.
Externally, in addition to business winning activities with the key customer stakeholders, you will work closely with end-users, platform manufacturers and integrators in both the UK and overseas. This position is centred around customer capability development
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
As a Sales Manager you will have an in depth understanding of Electronic warfare, CEMA and/or Infrared , Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) ideally through commercial or operational experience as an end user/operator or by having previous technical experience within this domain.

You will be responsible for engaging closely with customers, end-users, platform manufacturers and integrators in both the UK and overseas in order to win profitable business.
The role will be located at our Southampton or Basildon site, although we are open to discuss flexibility and what that means to you.
