QUALIFICATIONS THAT INSPIRE US

  • Degree in energy technology, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
  • Proven experience (min. 3 years) in selling complex software solutions, ideally in the energy sector
  • Excellent understanding of the energy distribution/transmission market challenges, technologies, ternds, and regulations, mainly in SCADA, IT/OT integration, digitalization with IoT solutions and cyber security
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills, with the ability to competently discuss complex technical issues with operations, engineering (software/hardware), and leadership teams
  • Experience in managing and developing key accounts, and strong networking skills
  • Basic knowledge of commercial fundamentals
  • High degree of initiative, strategic mindset, responsibility and team spirit
  • German and English language skills
  • Existing network of contacts in distribution/transmission markets (local and international) is a plus
  • Willingness to travel

Responsibilities
  • Planning, coordinating and controlling all sales activities for assigned territories and accounts
  • Development of sales strategies for the Grid and Energy Management portfolio in collaboration with other Entities under the responsibility of PSI
  • Actively selling our software solutions in grid control and energy management
  • Identifying and acquiring new customers in the utilities, energy trading and industrial sectors
  • Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients
  • Conducting presentations, negotiating offers, and closing contracts
  • Drive the preparation and management of offers in sales phase - complete understanding of customer requirements, development of suitable offers together with the team of service professionals, coordination of all stakeholders involved
  • Collaborating with product management and development to tailor customer-centric solutions
  • Develop Sales Pipeline and ensure efficient usage of sales tools (CRM) and deliver high quality forecast
  • Participation in trade fairs and industry events
  • Develops and implement creative ideas to promote value-selling
