Description

Manning Park Resort (MPR) is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to live and work in the heart of the mountains, while playing a key role in shaping the future of a premier four-season resort through outreach and networking.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive sales strategies aimed at improving visitation both by individuals and groups (School, Social, Corporate) in both existing and emerging markets. You will be the face of MPR at area business events and trade shows and be a passionate cheerleader for all things Manning Park Resort. That one is easy!
This is a pivotal role for a results-driven professional with a passion for hospitality, outdoor recreation, and brand awareness who is comfortable with outreach and networking.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry partners, area business communities, and key strategic clients by driving the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing
  • Represent MPR at trade shows, industry meetings and community events to promote MPR products and activities
  • Partnering with MPR’s Food and Beverage and Accommodations Managers to enhance the offerings available while ensuring alignment between client expectations and deliverables
  • Collaborative engagement with MPR’s Marketing Manager to provide direction in the development of digitally based promotional materials to reach targeted audiences
  • Develop and implement growth strategies and outcomes. Establish targets tracking metrics to ensure goals are met
  • Provide regular reporting through accurate reporting of business recruitment and outcomes
  • Other duties as required
