We are now looking for a new

SALES MANAGER, MARINE

We are seeking a motivated and self-driven Sales Manager to lead sales projects and key accounts in accordance with our sales process. As a key member of the marine team, you will manage sales projects from the initial contact to the signing of the sales contract, with a strong focus on acquiring new customers. Your responsibilities will also include long-term key account management, ensuring both profitable business growth and high customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will handle demanding projects for customers like international marine system integrators, power electronics OEMs, and shipyards. Your contributions will significantly impact the entire order supply chain ensuring world class customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Standard equipment sales for selected global customers and market segments
  • Key account & customer relationship management
  • Sales offer preparation & cost calculation
  • Collecting & evaluating customer requirements, needs and market data, and systematically communicating them within the organization
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
  • Visiting customers globally, participating to relevant trade shows, customer events and seminars
  • Ensure organization has full understanding of sales contract and scope of supply
    To succeed, you should already have solid experience and understanding of the industry fundamentals; an educational background (e.g., B.Sc or M.Sc. in Engineering preferably electrical or mechanical) and experience in marine industry or power electronics and frequency converters. You have already some experience in industrial B2B technical sales projects, background in export industry is a plus. Experience in managing effectively multiple sales cases, contacting new prospects as well as strong contract negotiation, presentation and closing skills, are essential. You have fluent communication skills in both Finnish and English. German, Spanish and French are considered as an advantage.
