Description The Atlanta Marriott Peachtree Corners is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join the hotel’s sales team. This role is responsible for generating group, corporate, and transient business while building strong client relationships and driving overall revenue growth for the property. The Sales Manager works closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, General Manager, and hotel operations teams to develop and execute strategic sales initiatives that maximize occupancy and revenue. This position requires strong prospecting abilities, client relationship management, and negotiation skills within a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in managing group accounts from solicitation through execution. Requirements Develop and execute strategies to increase group, corporate, and transient business revenue. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, cold calls, referrals, and community involvement. Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships. Conduct hotel site visits, outside sales calls, and client presentations for prospective and existing accounts. Prepare proposals, contracts, banquet event orders, and sales reports in a timely manner. Collaborate with Catering, Front Office, Revenue Management, and Operations teams to ensure exceptional client satisfaction and seamless group execution. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and hotel performance to identify opportunities for growth. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Attend networking events, trade shows, and community functions to promote the hotel and generate leads. Maintain knowledge of Marriott brand standards, programs, and sales initiatives.
