JOB SUMMARY
Proactive target oriented role reporting to the Sales Leader. This role is focused on Groups & Events and managing relationship with the MICE Agencies. The Sales Manager role involves a combination of new business prospecting and account management with the strong focus on New Business Development. Proactively manages relationships with multiple stakeholders. Works in-conjunction with the Global Sales office (GSO) / National Sales Team (NST) and sales team to ensure sales account revenue targets are achieved through strategic account management. Actively upsells each business opportunity to maximize hotel revenue and increase Sheraton Skyline Hotel’s market share. Achieves personal and team related revenue goals. Handles numerous accounts and in charge of MICE Third Party websites performance. Responsible to support Marriott’s Service and Relationship Strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience. Assists in leading all day-to-day activities related to sales with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales and hotel revenue objectives.
