Description

Orient Insurance PSJC – Atradius co-operation partner in the UAE – recruits for its trade credit office a Sales Manager based in Dubai, responsible for leading and driving the sales strategy to achieve profitable business growth across the Middle East region. This includes identifying new market opportunities, developing sales plans, commercial underwriting, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The Sales Manager also monitors performance metrics, provides coaching and support to team members, and collaborates with other departments to align sales efforts with overall company goals.
We are looking to hire a Sales Manager to join our New Business team based in Dubai. The role will report to the Head of New Business in the United Arab Emirates.
Candidates with less experience may also be considered for the Associate Sales Manager position.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Developing business relationships, with a variety of intermediaries/channels (brokers, partners) and seeking new ways of driving profitable growth for the Middle East Region via direct business, and achieve specified growth and profitability targets.
  • Work pro-actively and responsibly in order to raise awareness of the company in the market place, securing new customers and developing new and additional sales channels across the region with the ability and willingness to travel across the region
  • You must be a confident, ambitious, and independent self-starter with a desire to succeed in a competitive market
  • A Team player, able to work with other team members to progress and enhance our offering
  • Seek new prospects, assessment of client needs and selection of potential clients
  • Have a strong understanding of Finance, Banking and Trade along with business sourcing, negotiation and, deal closing skills.
  • Prior knowledge of Trade Credit Risk Management and Insurance is preferred but not a pre-requisite

KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will be a confident, ambitious self-starter, responsible for raising awareness of the company in the market place with a desire to succeed in a competitive market.
This role would suit candidates with experience gained in a business development or sales role with the proven ability of building lasting business relationships and sourcing, negotiating and closing new business deals.
Ideally, you are university degree holder in business, marketing, management, finance or, relevant disciplines, will have 6-8 years of sales/new business development/marketing experience, and demonstrate strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
We will also consider individuals who do not know the regional Trade Credit industry well and want to take a step up into this exciting role.
If you have a good business network and relationships with insurance brokers and banks in the region, you will definitely have an advantage. Candidates will need to be fluent in written and spoken English, and knowledge of written and spoken Arabic is preferable.
