Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team in Gaborone, Botswana. As a key member of our organization, you will lead our sales initiatives, drive business growth, and develop innovative strategies to expand our market reach. Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and achieve organizational goals Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to meet and exceed targets Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities Collaborate with marketing and other departments to align sales efforts with overall business objectives Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders Create and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management Implement and optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards Stay informed about industry trends and adapt sales strategies accordingly Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field Proven track record of 5+ years in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role Strong business development and negotiation skills Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills Knowledge of the Botswana market and local business culture is highly advantageous Ability to lead and motivate a diverse sales team Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends Adaptability to changing market conditions and emerging sales technologies Additional Information Avani leaders try new approaches and challenge the status quo; they recognise that the hotel industry is rapidly changing and that what worked today is simply not good enough for tomorrow.
