Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for a Sales Manager to join our MRO Europe business. This role will be based at our newly created Ontic Tewkesbury site but travel between all of our Gloucestershire sites should be expected.

Job Purpose:
To lead and be responsible for the sales growth and development of our MRO business. The role will focus on leading the sales team, identifying and executing sales opportunities to generate organic sales growth for Ontic. This role will focus on sales and orderbook growth of the Tewksbury MRO site and ensuring that the bookings performance and results are in line with Ontic’s expectations and achieving the business cases of our various product lines. You will be expected to articulate and present the sales performance and sales strategies to internal stakeholders. You will also be required to be able to understand, interpret and utilise previous sales data, to identify new leads and opportunities to sustain and grow the business.
Within the role, you’ll travel on a domestic and international basis to visit customers and partners and participate in Industry Trade Shows from time to time.

You will have exceptional organisational skills, ability to manage a team, understand the sales process, creation and management of a sales pipeline, with passion and high drive to identify and execute sales growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with both military and civil aerospace customers.
