Description

We are a leading consumer products company. We are looking for a very experienced Sales Manager to bring into a rapidly growing company with sales over 300 million and climbing.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • BA/BS degree preferred

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-10 years sales management experience
  • Strong interpersonal written/verbal communication, organizational and leadership skills
  • Developed and proven sales skills including prospecting, negotiating, influencing, and selling
  • Ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization
  • Proven analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and high energy, strong customer focus and responsiveness, adaptable
  • Technically competent to run product demonstrations
  • Self-managed and goal oriented
  • Strong ethical and moral compass
  • Minimum on-site requirement for remote branch(es) near or around 25% on a monthly basis
  • Ability to multitask in fast paced and deadline driven environment;
  • Strong ability to operate and understand digital platforms and systems, including but not limited Outlook, Excel, in-house CRM system, etc.;
  • Prior experience running and/or managing a franchise, branch, chain, multi-site store in construction, remodeling, or any industry where you were responsible for day-to-day operations preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Full ownership of all relationships and sales activities within assigned territory
  • Oversee all P&L for the assigned territory and establish KPI’s to ensure you are meeting your financial goals.
  • Build and implement sales action plans to execute on company strategy effectively and efficiently
  • Provide active participation in sales activities required to achieve business success
  • Develop key sales competencies as required to maximize success, including but not limited to prospecting, lead generation, influencing, business acumen and business judgment
  • Working with branch sales teams to achieve operational excellence
  • Leadership skills and finding solutions in situations with high ambiguity
  • Maintain an extensive knowledge of customers, opportunities, markets, and competition
  • Build and maintain aggressive account growth plans of top customers in assigned geography and execute those plans
  • Add value to customers through growth and support activities including product demonstrations and product road shows
  • Provide productive strategic and market feedback to the business
  • Build and execute on plans to support customer and market training needs
  • Drive all aspects of recruiting and talent acquisition for all roles within your locations, including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training;
  • Managing and distributing sales leads to your sales team;
  • Holding branch and sales meetings (on-site/remote) to motivate your team, provide training and recognizing achievement;
  • Hold and drive staff accountability to results and KPIs;
  • Drive down communication and company updates in a positive manner to all staff;
  • Consistent availability (“on call”) to take sales calls to with your team to assess training needs and facilitate customer experience; and
  • Handling all branch administration related to sales, installation, commission and payroll (on-site/remote).
