Sales Manager – New Zealand Territory (Based in Sydney) Why We Have This Role Qualtrics is looking for a proactive Sales Manager based in Sydney to lead and grow our New Zealand sales team. You will drive net new revenue while coaching and mentoring four direct reports, all based in Sydney, focused on closing experience gaps for organizations across New Zealand. Our Sales team is highly driven and dedicated to enabling customers with Qualtrics’ Experience Management SaaS platform. You will develop and execute a strong operating rhythm, leading with empathy and a positive, adaptable approach to achieve outstanding results in a fast-paced market. How You’ll Find Success Builds and nurtures strong relationships by masterfully mapping and engaging multiple stakeholders within accounts to establish lasting partnerships. How You’ll Grow Lead and scale a dedicated sales team responsible for the full New Zealand territory, deepening your leadership and talent development skills. Gain experience executing strategic sales plans tailored to a unique regional market. Expand your knowledge of Qualtrics’ Experience Management solutions and enhance your ability to position them against competitors. Develop skills in managing complex sales cycles, contract negotiations, and cross-functional deal coordination. Collaborate with global and regional teams, broadening your influence and strengthening your professional network. Things You’ll Do Lead, coach, and develop a team of four Account Executives and Enterprise sellers focused on New Zealand revenue growth. Establish and maintain a disciplined operating rhythm to manage sales pipeline, forecast performance, and track key metrics. Recruit, retain, and nurture a high-potential sales team with a strong performance history. Provide training and mentoring on complex sales strategies, including collaboration with legal, product, and internal stakeholders. Develop strong relationships with clients and prospects at all organizational levels throughout the sales cycle. Manage complex contract negotiations and act as an executive sponsor on key deals to ensure successful closure. Maintain a deep and current understanding of Qualtrics’ platform and the competitive landscape to craft win-based proposals and pricing strategies. Foster strong collaboration with internal teams such as Professional Services, Implementation, and Subject Matter Experts to support large enterprise engagements. Lead the team through change and growth within a fast-evolving business environment using entrepreneurial problem-solving. What We’re Looking For On Your Resume Proven sales leader with 8-10+ years of individual enterprise-level SaaS sales experience and a minimum of 3 years managing sales teams. Experience leading a sales team in the Sydney region or managing remote teams focused on New Zealand. Strong record of exceeding team sales quotas via metrics-driven coaching and management. Expertise in handling complex contract negotiations and multi-stakeholder sales cycles. Proficient in MEDDPICC or an equivalent sales methodology and experienced in Salesforce.com for pipeline and performance management. Excellent communication skills with ability to build trust and influence senior stakeholders. Demonstrated adaptability, positive leadership style, and strong operating discipline.
