Description

Nisbets Limited are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to join our Customer Operations team based in Avonmouth.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven individual to lead a small team and take ownership of sales across our service portfolio, including installations, spare parts, and maintenance packages. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer orders, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring a seamless service experience from enquiry to delivery.
You will play a key role in developing new business opportunities, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth through tailored service solutions. A background in sales and service management, ideally within the catering or equipment sector, is highly desirable.
This role will be based at our Avonmouth office, with flexibility to work from home as part of a hybrid working pattern following initial training.

Key Accountabilities

  • Maximise sales of services, installations, and spare parts across all channels.
  • Manage installation and site survey scheduling using our maintenance management system.
  • Support the delivery of service orders within customer SLAs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, engineers, and internal teams.
  • Develop and sell tailored service packages to key accounts.
  • Lead and coach a team of service administrators to meet performance targets.
  • Manage payments, quotes, and invoice queries.
  • Attend customer meetings both online and in person.

Capabilities, Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong commercial acumen and a target-driven mindset.
  • Experience in sales and service operations, ideally in heavy catering equipment.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Confident in presenting and demonstrating services.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
