JOB DESCRIPTION:

Northwest Robotics is looking for a motivated, energetic and high performing Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Managing Partner, the Sales Manager will be responsible for the development of sales opportunities, promoting and selling our versatile robots to diverse range of clients, and the implementation of strategic and tactical initiatives to drive revenue.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the B2B Industry is a must.
  • 3+ experience in selling hardware solutions, preferably.
  • Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly learn and explain advanced robotic solutions.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
  • Consistent track record of sales growth, achieving quota and driving increased profitability.
  • Self-starter, creative thinker, problem solver, ability to thrive in opportunistic and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Robotics is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
  • Willingness to travel (100%) to customer sites and trade shows.
  • Proficient in MS Office, specifically PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

· Drive Sales: Play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and customer base in driving sales growth. Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives. Introduce advanced robotic solutions to clients and ensure smooth implementation and long-term value.

  • Sales pipeline management: Own the sales cycle from discovery to closing, using CRM tools to track activity and forecast revenue.
  • Lead generation & outreach: Identify and engage potential customers through outbound campaigns, industry events, and networking. Assist with industry-related events such as trade shows, demos, exhibits, etc.
  • Product demonstrations: Conduct on-site and virtual demos of robots, showcasing use cases, ROI, and technical capabilities. Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  • Build Relationships: Foster strong relationships with existing and potential customers by deeply understanding their business challenges and goals, becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, customer success, and product teams to refine messaging and improve customer experience.
  • Expertise in Robotics Industry: Must understand technical robot development and deployment process and communicate this effectively to clients. Understand landscapes and trends of service robots. Research new opportunities built on understanding the competitive landscape.
