SALES MANAGER

THE ROLE

As Sales Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in our next chapter. This role blends the drive and creativity of a Business Development Manager with the trust-building care of a Key Account Manager. You’ll seek out new opportunities across Ireland, the UK and Europe while nurturing and growing long-term partnerships with existing customers.

DUTIES:

• Lead and expand B2B sales across retail and wholesale channels
• Develop and execute market entry strategies for new regions and sectors
• Build strong, lasting relationships with key accounts and new customers
• Represent the company at trade events, buyer meetings, and industry forums
• Collaborate with the marketing support assistant on marketing and promotional campaigns
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure customer needs align with production and capacity
• Track competitor activity, pricing, and customer insights to support strategic decisions
• Deliver sales reports and forecasts to management
• Contribute to O’Donohues Bakery revenue and gross profit targets

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS TO FULFIL THE ROLE:

• Confident in presentation and negotiation, with experience using Powerpoint.
• Excellent numerical skills with experience using Excel.
• Willing to travel as needed (mostly within Ireland, with occasional UK and EU trips)
• Full clean driver’s license
