Job Details Level: Management Job Location: Commercial Sewing, Inc. - Torrington, CT 06790 Job Category: Sales Sales Manager – Marine & Powersports Commercial Sewing is seeking a driven Sales Manager to lead our Sales Team and help grow our marine and powersports business. This role sits between our Sales Representatives and the VP of Business Development and is ideal for someone who understands both industries, enjoys coaching a team, and can manage technical, custom-product sales cycles. What You’ll Do Lead, coach, and manage the Sales Team to achieve targets and support account strategies Manage and grow key accounts in the marine and powersports markets Conduct customer needs assessments and prepare accurate quotes/specs Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting Lead product presentations, demos, and technical conversations with customers Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Marketing on customer requirements Represent the company at trade shows, dealer events, and industry meetings Track market trends and provide insights for product and business development What You Bring 5–10 years of sales or account management experience (marine or powersports preferred) Experience managing or coaching a sales team Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Knowledge of selling technical or custom products in a complex sales environment Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred Travel required
