Reporting to the Regional Vice President, Sales, the Sales Manager will be responsible for building, leading and mentoring a team of high performing sales representatives and for creating successful sales plans. The successful candidate will be analytical and able to accurately forecast future business development. They will also be responsible for driving revenue growth by working closely with other Sales leaders in developing and executing Payworks sales strategies, managing team performance, setting sales targets and identifying market opportunities. You are a natural leader and skilled communicator, able to present and discuss win-win solutions. As a Sales Manager at Payworks, you are organized with the ability to demonstrate resourcefulness and maintain professionalism.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a successful team – A natural leader, you will establish and manage key initiatives for the sales team, reflective of the company’s performance, strategic and brand development objectives. Identify training and development requirements for the team and participate in designing and delivering training to the team.
  • Strategize and innovate – Monitoring sales metrics, you will create and implement sale strategies to capitalize on opportunities to secure new business and exceed quarterly and annual quotas. You will prepare regular sales reports and presentations for sales leadership. Collaborate with Sales Leadership to develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, implementation and customer service, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Be a trusted advisor – Knowing our product will be the key to your success, you are motivated to learn and understand our product to deliver an exceptional experience to our clients. Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting the payroll industry. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads and promote our brand and solutions. Payworks has two Solutions Consultants that assist with client meetings to support you and your team.
  • Strengthen relationships – Building and maintaining strong relationships with top accounts and referral partners through regular communication, follow-ups, and support to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention.
