Manage and develop existing accounts, in addition seek new business opportunities within the territory. Implement agreed sales strategies and achieve objectives. Serve as a close liaison with colleagues to enable the customer to receive efficient and effective services. Solicit feedback on new potential business opportunities from leadership Partner with finance and leadership to establish the annual sales budget. Keep up to date with new developments within the business and industry. Provide day to day technical and commercial support of the customer base, including: Demonstrate technical competence in ion exchange product knowledge and applications Troubleshoot customer problems Handle customer complaints Liaise and support other offices on product and client information. Handle resin sample testing/sample requests Maintain and distribute critical records e.g. visit reports, quotations listings, tech, service/sample requests Maintain customer data in a CRM system. Provide production planning input Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field Ion exchange experience 15 years of technical experience. Ability to travel 60% Previous people manager experience Preferred Qualifications Master's degree or higher. Experience in relationship management and negotiation. Strategic and global mindset. Business acumen. Strong commercial acumen and understanding of pricing. Collaborative and able to present, communicate, and drive for results. Strong consulting, analytical and problem-solving capabilities. High sense of urgency. Proficient in Microsoft Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
