A leading global defense organization is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Sales Manager to drive international sales growth within the defense aftermarket and land-vehicle markets. This is a high-impact role for a driven professional who can expand customer relationships and capture new opportunities in a competitive, regulated industry. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute business plans for assigned regions focused on aftermarket spare parts and land vehicle sales for OEM clients in the defense sector. Identify new sales opportunities, grow market share, and meet or exceed revenue targets. Produce marketing materials and proposals to effectively present products and services. Attend international trade events to represent and promote the company’s defense capabilities. Conduct frequent customer visits (domestic and international) to build relationships and understand local customs, cultures, and client requirements. Monitor client trends, budget cycles, and global defense market developments to inform strategy. Prepare detailed reports, business letters, and account updates for internal stakeholders. Conduct client satisfaction surveys to ensure high service levels and long-term partnerships. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and/or 2–5 years of relevant defense-industry sales or account management experience. VantageClear Certification (or equivalent U.S. defense-industry compliance credential) required. In-depth knowledge of global defense market trends, challenges, and client requirements. Proven ability to grow aftermarket customer bases and revenue streams. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
