Description:
A well-known information provider in the commodities space is currently recruiting for a Sales Manager job for their expanding team. In this job, you will work closely with the Head of Sales to identify and grow sponsorship opportunities within the commodities space.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- A degree in Business
- At least three years of sales/account management/business development experience
- A passion for relationship management and sales
- Excellent communication skills coupled with strong commercial sense

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE SALES MANAGER ROLE:
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for driving and delivering sponsorship sales revenue. You will also develop and roll out a robust new business strategy targeting adjacent sectors to drive growth in addition to increasing value from key accounts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and drive a sponsorship sales strategy through identification of new customers in the commodities space as well as cross sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts
- Define and manage both mid and long-term sales strategies
- Identify client needs through meetings and consultations
- Identify and proactively approach key decision makers
- Manage closing and decision making timelines
- Generate a pipeline of leads through networking and cross collaboration with the data and insights team
To succeed in this Sales Manager role, you must have commercial and strong business acumen.
