About the Role: The Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving revenue, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence through the successful solicitation, planning, and execution of group, social, and corporate events. This position serves as the primary liaison between clients and hotel operations, ensuring a seamless experience from initial inquiry through event completion and post event follow-up. The ideal candidate is both revenue focused and detail-driven, with the ability to proactively generate new business across multiple segments. This role requires strong collaboration with operations, culinary, and front-of-house teams to deliver memorable experiences that align with brand standards and property goals. At a lifestyle, multi-outlet environment, the Sales Manager must balance sales strategy with hands-on execution, supporting banquet and catering profitability while enhancing the guest journey across meeting space, restaurant activations, and social programming. Minimum Qualifications: * Minimum 2–3 years in sales, catering, event planning, or a related hospitality role * Strong knowledge of sales strategies and sales planning * Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets. * Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and catering/event management software. Responsibilities: * Develop and grow negotiated corporate transient accounts through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building * Manage RFP processes, contract negotiations, and account production tracking to ensure revenue and ADR goals are achieved * Selling catering packages, event spaces, and related services to corporate clients, private events, and public gatherings. * Maintain strong engagement with local businesses, corporate offices, and community partners to expand market penetration * Identifying upsell opportunities (e.g., AV equipment, specialty menus, rooms) * Understanding client needs and customizing proposals for corporate events, weddings, banquets, and social gatherings
