Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development & Sales Acquire new business for secured loans through direct sourcing, connectors, DSAs, and channel partners. Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets for loan disbursements and revenue. Cross-sell relevant products such as insurance, current accounts, and overdraft facilities. Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities. 2. Team Management Lead, train, and motivate a team of Sales Officers/Relationship Managers. Monitor sales activities, pipeline, and productivity through regular reviews. Guide team members in customer pitching, documentation, and conversion strategies. Ensure adherence to sales processes and regulatory guidelines. 3. Credit & Risk Coordination Work closely with credit, operations, and risk teams to ensure high-quality portfolio sourcing. Screen and evaluate customer financials before recommending cases. Ensure proper collateral verification, property assessment, and due-diligence. Maintain portfolio health by monitoring early delinquencies and ensuring corrective actions. 4. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, channel partners, and referral networks. Ensure superior customer experience from lead generation to disbursement. Resolve escalations and provide timely support to customers and internal teams. 5. Compliance & Documentation Ensure all documentation, KYC norms, credit policies, and audit requirements are strictly met. Maintain accurate MIS, reports, and dashboards for management review. Required Qualifications & Skills Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred). Experience 3–7 years of experience in secured business loans / LAP / SME lending. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Experience in team handling preferred. Skills Strong understanding of SME credit, property funding, and collateral evaluation. Excellent communication, negotiation & presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under pressure. Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Excel, and sales reporting. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Monthly/Quarterly disbursement targets Portfolio quality (delinquency ratios, early bucket performance) Lead-to-disbursement conversion ratio Channel productivity Customer satisfaction & retention Compliance and audit score
