JOB SUMMARY

Spartan Composites is looking for an energetic and proficient industry specific Sales Manager to oversee daily sales operations, helping us meet customer acquisition and revenue growth targets, keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to the upper management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to collaborate within the team.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and handle multiple projects.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field preferred but not required
  • Experience in budgeting, planning and executing sales

Responsibilities
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Planning and directing the hiring and training of new Sales Representatives
  • Excellent organizational and strong project management skills.
  • Able to work independently and solve problems.
  • Experience with Trade Shows (organization and set up) is preferred but not required.
  • General understanding of the manufacturing and production industry of composite matting
