What You’ll Do The Sales Manager leads SpringHill’s retreat and group sales efforts, guiding prospective churches, schools, and organizations from initial inquiry through booking and long-term partnership. This role blends relationship-building, sales strategy, data-driven pipeline management and cross-functional collaboration to drive sustainable growth and maximize utilization across SpringHill programs. How You’ll Lead Sales Strategy and Pipeline Management Own and manage the full retreat and group sales pipeline from inquiry to signed agreement. Develop and execute sales strategies to increase bookings, retention, and off-season utilization. Forecast demand, monitor pipeline health, and proactively address gaps Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with church leaders, ministry partners and group organizers Serve as a trusted advisor, helping groups select programs that best meet their ministry goals Develop long-term partnerships that drive repeat bookings across multiple seasons and generate referrals CRM & Data Management Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in HubSpot or Salesforce, tracking all interactions and opportunities Analyze data and trends to inform strategy and decision-making. Partner with Marketing to ensure strong lead handoff, follow-up and campaign alignment. Team Leadership and Development Recruit, train, mentor and lead seasonal or part-time sales support staff as needed. Establish clear goals, accountability and performance metrics for the sales function Foster an organization-wide culture of responsiveness, hospitality and results-driven excellence Provide process oversight to others in the organization who complete sales functions. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with Registration Manager to create a functional unit for peak period assistance, phone coverage and vacation coverage. Work closely with Program, Finance and Marketing teams to ensure seamless customer handoffs from booking through event execution. Communicate customer needs, feedback and expectations clearly to internal stakeholders. Pricing, Contracts & Financial Stewardship Partner with Finance and Leadership on pricing strategy, contracts and discounts. Ensure accurate quotes, contracts and handoff to Registration or Guest Services once bookings are secured. Contribute to annual revenue forecasting and budget planning related to group sales. Individual Sign-Up Programs Although the primary focus of this role will be group sales, the Sales Manager will be expected to develop and implement sales strategies for Individual Sign-Up events Create and lead call campaigns to encourage retention Lead and manage commission-based sales reps How You’ll Succeed Consistently grow retreat and group bookings year over year. Build strong, trust-based relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals. Maintain a healthy, predictable sales pipeline supported by clean data. What We Are Looking For 3-5 years of experience in sales, account management, or relationship-based business development. Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and close business. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence engaging church and organizational leaders. Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot or Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office products. Strategic thinker who is highly organized and execution-oriented.
