As a Sales Manager within the Japan Strategic Analytics & Insights (SA&I) team, you will be instrumental in accelerating NIQ’s revenue growth and expanding its market presence. In this role, you will collaborate with Japanese manufacturers, retailers, and service providers to apply our “Full View” approach—delivering comprehensive analytics and actionable insights across brands, consumer experiences, and shopper research. Your contributions will help clients identify new growth opportunities and anticipate market trends. Key Responsibilities Actively promote, develop, and expand the research consulting business, building a solid foundation for sustainable growth. Partner with key stakeholders to identify and pursue new business opportunities, driving sales and increasing market penetration within the assigned area. Work collaboratively across teams to deliver 360° consumer insights, focusing on analytics that reveal future directions for client growth. Utilize the full portfolio of research and analytics solutions, including both quantitative and qualitative methods, and maximize the value of diverse data assets from both FMCG and non-FMCG sectors. Own and meet annual revenue targets or quotas, ensuring long-term, profitable growth for the business unit. Qualifications Skills and Experience Proven track record in sales, preferably in analytics, consulting, or market research sectors. Strong understanding of Japanese market dynamics and consumer behavior. Demonstrated ability to drive business growth, manage complex client relationships, and achieve revenue objectives. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Innovative mindset with a passion for using data and technology to address business challenges. Highly adaptive and flexible—able to respond swiftly to changing market conditions. Experienced in continually enhancing client and team engagement.
