Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for contacting assigned/agreed customer accounts or prospects to sell Survitec Marine safety products within a designated geography or market sector. Your focus will be on meeting personal sales targets, new business development, maintaining customer relationships, and troubleshooting specific customer problems. You will leverage your solid knowledge of Survitec products and services, excellent interpersonal skills, and sales experience to drive customer commitment and revenue growth at the right margin.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE SALES MANAGER ROLE INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Develop and implement a sales plan to deliver revenue retention, growth, and new business for your customer portfolio to meet or exceed personal sales targets and overall business growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant decision-makers and influencers within your customer portfolio to facilitate effective two-way information flow and understanding of customer value delivery.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging presentations to customer decision-makers, adapting standard materials as needed. Gather and evaluate customer feedback to identify and respond to areas needing further information.
  • Represent Survitec at industry events to obtain market intelligence and enhance visibility and reputation.
  • Collaborate with internal specialists to configure product and service solutions that meet customer needs, presenting and negotiating these solutions within predefined commercial parameters.
  • Enter customer information into the CRM system to ensure data quality for effective customer retention and business development activities. Utilize the CRM system to drive sales activity plans and reporting.
  • Work as a customer champion in cross-functional teams to build strong external customer relationships.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Survitec policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory codes.
