WHAT YOU'LL DO • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team -- setting daily expectations, running effective desking sessions, and driving consistent production • Manage the full sales process from first contact to delivery -- ensuring every guest interaction reflects Mercedes-Benz brand standards and Swickard's hospitality-first culture • Desk deals with accuracy, urgency, and integrity -- structuring transactions that work for the guest and the business • Monitor and manage key sales metrics -- units, gross per vehicle, closing ratio, lead response time, and CRM compliance • Partner with the finance department to ensure smooth deal flow, clean handoffs, and a seamless guest experience through delivery • Recruit, train, and retain top sales talent -- building a team with the skills, attitude, and hospitality mindset the brand demands • Manage inventory in coordination with the GM -- monitoring turn, mix, and market positioning to maximize opportunity • Respond to escalated guest concerns with composure and professionalism -- protecting the relationship and the store's reputation • Collaborate with marketing, BDC, and service leadership to align the guest experience across every touchpoint WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • 3+ years of automotive sales management experience in a franchised dealership -- Mercedes-Benz or luxury brand experience strongly preferred • Proven track record of hitting sales targets, developing consultants, and maintaining strong CSI performance • Skilled at desking deals -- comfortable working numbers, negotiating, and closing with confidence and transparency • A coach first -- you develop your team's skills and hold them accountable with consistency and care • Strong CRM discipline and the ability to build a culture of follow-up, accountability, and process compliance on the floor • Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK experience preferred • Clear, direct communicator who earns the respect of the sales team and the trust of the guest • A hospitality mindset -- you lead by example and understand that how we sell is just as important as how much we sell WHAT WE OFFER • Income potential of $100,000 - $150,000+ annually • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Life insurance and supplemental coverage options • Paid time off and paid holidays • Paid Mercedes-Benz manufacturer and leadership training • Career growth -- strong sales managers at Swickard grow into GSM and GM roles across the organization • Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts • The backing of a nationally recognized, fast-growing dealer group with deep operational infrastructure WHY MERCEDES-BENZ OF SEATTLE • Seattle is one of the most educated, affluent, and brand-conscious markets in the country -- the guest base here rewards managers who lead with professionalism and integrity • Mercedes-Benz is one of the most recognized luxury brands in the world -- strong brand equity means consistent traffic and a guest who already respects what you sell • Swickard is one of the fastest-growing dealer groups in the country -- ranked Top 5 in North America for reputation in the automotive industry • A store with real volume, strong infrastructure, and a leadership team committed to growing the people who deliver results • Our HEART values -- Honor, Engage, Anticipate, Respond, Thank -- are the foundation of how we lead, hire, and serve every guest • A culture where great sales leadership is recognized, developed, and given a clear path to the next level The best sales managers don't just run a desk.
